I would recommend this workshop to anyone starting out in the world of reborning, I think it was very well organized and very friendly, with only 8 students to the class I found it more like one to one tuition, as time was given individually to each student. The teacher, Dianne Johnson, is a very professional reborn artist and was very friendly and very approachable she showed every up to date aspect of basic methods in painting the most realistic reborn doll, the class was very relaxed and no one was rushed to finish each layer of painting or heat setting, all materials were supplied and all of top quality. I see the day as a very worthwhile and enjoyable experience at a very reasonable price, not forgetting the wonderful home cooked lunch supplied and made by Ceinwen which was included in the price.
Refreshments were also available throughout the day
If there was ever an advance class covering advance techniques in painting and rooting I would be the first to put my name down for it, and consider it as money well spent.

I would highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to have a try at reborning. The whole day from start to finish was just fantastic.
Diane is a great teacher, taking us through the painting stages, explaining everything and answering all of our questions fully. A nice small friendly group .
Our kit and supplies were fantastic, we had everything we needed and more . Ceinwen is a wonderful host. Lunch was delicious and amazing and she made us all so very welcome.
I have been on several similar days for sculpting tutorials, this was my first reborning one and this is defiantely THE BEST class I have attended. I came away feeling had learn't loads and met some very nice friendly ladies too.
If you get the opportunity to go to this class I would say grab it with both hands !! Carole Illingworth of Tiny Cherubs Nursery |
This is the 3rd class I have attended, as well as tried the DVD's, and I can now throw all the other stuff away and actually MAKE a reborn that looks GOOD! This class was AWESOME. Only suggestion is MORE, more, more!
Peggy (who is now stripping all previous tries at painting!)
